Process - Digital Media Mission 1 (1)

In my first Digital Media class, I learned that the assignments are actually called "Missions" and by golly, a mission it was to get this underway. The first mission consisted a team of three people in which the team had to choose from a selection of topics to research and eventually, construct a presentation. My team and I decided to research GIFs( Yes it is pronounced JIF, No I do not agree with this)

To be brutally honest, I didn't know how to start or even work as part of a team. I would have felt better about it if I was working on my own. Collaborating on a project like this for the first time in college is surprisingly daunting. The research wasn't too bad. I learned a good bit about GIFs and their origin. However, the main issues I had were actually an attempt to structure all I have found and how I could present it. While I do enjoy this class, I personally do not like presentations as they raise my anxiety levels through the roof. That being said, this proved to be a pretty good learning curve.

I didn't really understand fully what was required as it was the first mission and couldn't get the ball rolling. The goals for the mission at hand was to create a Powerpoint presentation showing our research into the world of GIFs while demonstrating our own GIF we have made. My hope for the missions was to create a few GIFs with the help of a number of resources from Moodle and show my work. Instead I just showed the history of what they were and how the began. I am not proud of the work  I have done for  this.

The production part of the mission was a bit more fun. Chris, Wiktoria and I were finally getting together making the blog on Wix. As this...
